SPECIAL EVENTS

STAIRCASE TO THE MOON

Broome is one of the few locations in the world where this optical illusion of a stairway reaching to the moon occurs. It is a natural phenomenon, caused by the rising of the full moon reflecting off the exposed mudflats at extremely low tide.

Our extra services operate to coincide with the Town Beach Markets held during the Staircase.

Please download our latest timetable for the Staircase to the Moon Bus Service
